Base indicates Poor GPS or extended Calibration time

High Accuracy GPS needed for accurate tracking requires an open, unobstructed view of the sky.  Ideally, the Base should be at least 15-20 ft away from buildings or other sky obstructions.

The Base is working to obtain accurate GPS during the calibration process…if the calibration process is taking longer than 2 minutes it may be due to Poor GPS signal environment which is holding up calibration process from completing.

If you see “Poor GPS Signal” warning you can:

  • Move the Base to a less obstructed area
  • Gently dock a Tag which shows GPS icon (instructions can be seen on Base via clicking on Options)

If you see Calibrating Spinner indicating Time Remaining, you can:

  • Wait
  • Move the Base to a less obstructed area
  • Gently dock a Tag which shows GPS icon (instructions can be seen on Base via clicking on Options)
